If you’re like me, you love a good champagne bar. The mixing of fruits and juices and champagne early in the morning really makes me happy, which is where this awesome idea came into play. My best friend was getting married and we were throwing her a fabulous bachelorette party, and I wanted to incorporate mojito’s, because I knew they were her favorite. What I didn’t want to do was play bartender with 14 girls and a billion other things to do, so I came up with this awesome idea: A Mojito Bar.

Boy, was it a hit!

Here’s what you need:

  • Brown Banner that says “Mojito Bar” (see tutorial here)
  • Cups or glasses with chalk labels (so you know which is yours)
  • Paper straws
  • Ice Bucket
  • Wooden Spoon or Muddler
  • Plastic Shot Glasses
  • Simple Syrup (Recipe Here)
  • Bacardi Rum
  • Club Soda
  • Fruit Bar
    • Limes (quartered)
    • Mint
    • Oranges
    • Assorted Berries
    • Watermelon
  • Directions on “How to Make a Mojito”

For the directions, I just made a fun How to on Word and added a picture. Then I framed it in a cheap frame I got from the dollar store.

I acquired a three-tiered plating set that allowed the fruit to be visible and easily grabbed. I placed tongs near it for sanitary purposes. I found the mugs with chalk labels on them at the dollar store, a stellar deal! 12 for $12. I put the simple syrup in a fun cork bottle that I got at World Market. I wrote a post on where I buy most party supplies here, for reference on how I acquire fun and unique pieces that can be reused over and over again.

I set up the table so that everything could be accessed easily. Each glass had somebody’s name on it, so they could find it and begin their drink! This fun bar was hands on and allowed everyone to make their own drinks exactly the way they like.

I hope you enjoy this fun party addition and let me know what you think below! Thanks!
